Evaluation of Printability and Thermal Properties of 3D Printed Concrete Mixed with Phase Change Materials

Three-dimensional (3D) printed concrete has recently received considerable research attention. In buildings, phase change materials (PCMs) with excellent thermoregulatory properties and thermal storage capacity can improve the insulation of external walls reduce energy consumption. this study, microencapsulated paraffin was added to a 3D printable material phase-change developed, resulting in good printability buildability. The compressive flexural strengths were declined maximally by 44.6% 37.5%, respectively, 20 wt% PCM mixed. Results from room models proved thermo-regulated performance regulating temperature when mixed PCM. With addition PCM, facilities have sufficient comfort.
